This is my first year at Jackson Heights Elementary School. I recently graduated from Kansas State University, even though I am a die hard KU fan. I grew up in Smith Center, KS, which is located in North Central Kansas about 10 miles from the Nebraska border. My father Don has been a middle school math and social studies teacher for 34 years, and my mother is a county extension agent. My sister Calee is currently going to school at Fort Hays State University, majoring in Elementary Education as well.
During high school I competed in a varied of athletics. I was also part of Kays and Select Choir.
After high school I attended Kansas Wesleyan University on a basketball scholarship. I spend 2 years in the basketball program before transfering to Kansas State University.
